Kalki 2 Update: Pan India star Prabhas and director Nag Ashwin’s blockbuster movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ had set waves of excitement among the audience before. The movie which was released last year, has entered the thousand crore club at the box office. With this, fans are eagerly waiting for the second part. Now, Nag Ashwin made interesting comments on ‘Kalki 2’ in a recent press meet.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a science fiction mythological movie directed by Nag Ashwin starring Rebel Star Prabhas as the hero. This movie, produced under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies, was released in June last year. It was a sensational success at the box office. Worldwide, it has earned collections of more than Rs. 1100 crores. All movie fans are now eagerly waiting for ‘Kalki’ Part-2. In this context, director Nag Ashwin has given a key update on the second part.

In the context of Nag Ashwin’s ‘Yevade Subramanyam’ completing ten years , he held a press meet recently. Speaking about ‘Kalki 2’ on this occasion, Nag Ashwin revealed that the team is close to what project-K Means and as for Kalki 2 there is still time for it’s shooting to begin. Right now, there is a possibility of starting by the end of this year.

Nag Ashwin responded to the fact that Prabhas’s role in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is short. “We will definitely show his role for a longer time in the second part. In Part-1, we set up the Mahabharata background. We have come this far by showing what Ashwathama’s role is. That’s all. In Part-2, the Bhairava and Karna angles are left. So the second part will be full of Prabhas. I made ‘Jathiratnalu’ in the time I found in between while making ‘Kalki’. ‘Kalki 2’ has a lot of pre-production work. So if I find time again, I will produce ‘Jathiratnalu 2’,” he said.
