In a recent event, the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) which is currently taking place in Goa, Kalki producers dropped a major update. Talking at the event producer of Kalki 2898 AD Swapna Datt and Priyanka Datt shared that Pre-production for Part 2 is in progress, and we have already shot 30-35% of Part 2.”
They also spilled beans about how Deepika’s role going to be in the upcoming sequel. They said, “Deepika will continue to play the role of the Mother in some parts of Part 2.” Which indirectly represents two scenarios. One which shows her past or the second one where Deepika has given birth to Kalki.
They also revealed that, the producers on planning to release the film Kalki 2898 AD part one internationally. Part of that they are going to release the film in Japan. They posted the same on their social media account saying ” #Kalki2898AD is all set to amaze audiences in Japan, hitting screens on January 3rd.”
Prabhas will next be seen in Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam Following the success of “Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire which will be directed by Prasanth Neel. Prabhas will also star in “The Raja Saab”, a unique horror-comedy directed by Maruthi. Another exciting and unexpected surprise for fans is Prabha’s collab with Kantara makers. Prabhas signed a three-film deal with Hombale Films. This collaboration includes the most anticipated “Spirit”, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Prabhas is also set to collaborate with director Hanu Raghavapudi, Sita Ramam director for a period romance film.
