The upcoming Telugu film “Kannappa” directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, and produced by M. Mohan Babu has garnered significant attentiion due to its ensemble cast, inckuding Vishnu Manchum, Prabhas, Akshya Kumar and others. Recently, the film’s promotional materials, particularly,the movie posters has been subjected to both praise and criticism.
The first-look poster featuring Prabhas as ‘Rudra’ was unveiled on Feb 3, 2025. In the poster, Prabhas was seen with matted hair, a forhead smeared with sandalwood past, and holding a staff topped with a crescent moon-like structure embodying a hermit-like appearance. This poster received a heavy criticism from fans, but not in a good way. Fans complained, the poster lacked quality and failed to generate the expected buzz.
However, now a new poster has been released by the team Kannappa.

The poster is immaculate in the quality. The fans commented on the poster quality, as the previous posters were a dissapointment. Now as the new poster is out, it seems like the netizens are happy with the total out-look.

The poster featured Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Vishnu Manchum and Mohan Babu from the movie.
The audience praised Akshay Kumar for his enchanting screen presence as Lord shiva. Prabhas’ fans also addressed their concern, as they feel like he’s being sidelined in the poster and looks more like a side-character.

As we expect to get more updates, let’s wait for this most anticipated Prabhas movie till it hits the theaters from April 25, 2025.
