Kannappa Runtime Locked: The much-awaited mythological epic Kannappa, helmed by Vishnu Manchu, has finally wrapped up with a runtime of 3 hours and 10 minutes. The film, powered by the heavy-weight cast of Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar, is anticipated to be a powerful cinematic ride packed with spiritual and dramatic content. The latest news broke the news on each of these top stars’ screen time.
Prabhas is portrayed as divine power in Kannappa. Whose effort goes a long way towards the lead’s transformation from an atheist to a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva. While some of his scenes were shortened in the final cut for continuity, he remains on screen for about 30 minutes. He also has considerable interactions with Mohan Babu, a veteran actor, thus giving his screen presence wholesome and reminiscent.
Mohanlal’s cameo might be brief—lasting about 15 minutes—but it does carry emotional substance. His visit adds religious gravitas to the narrative and forms part of the film’s subtext. While he has fewer minutes in front of the camera, his acting will certainly leave a lasting impression on viewers.
Entering with a Telugu film, Akshay Kumar features as Lord Shiva in a guest role. Even though the duration of his screen time has not been disclosed publicly. Insiders confirm that he has a notable role towards the end of the film, and thus his appearance is one of the major highlights of the story.
