Kingdom Release: ‘Kingdom’ is being directed by Gautham Tinnanuri, who made feel-good movies like ‘Jersey’, and stars Vijay Devarakonda in the lead role. Suryadevara Nagavamsi is producing this movie with great prestige under the banner of Sitara Entertainments. Bhagyashree Borse is the heroine. The release of Kingdom movie will be postponed as per the latest publicity. The movie was supposed to be released on May 30th. However, the re-recording is being delayed due to music director Anirudh’s busy schedule.
It has been a long time since Vijay Devarakonda scored a hit. Vijay, who had hit the screens with Geetha Govindam and Taxiwala in 2018, could not achieve success in that range again. The films Dear Comrade, World Famous Lover and Liger, which came with a lot of expectations, turned out to be disasters. He got back on track with ‘Khushi’ and then fell down. Last year, ‘Family Star’, which was released amidst huge expectations, gave Vijay an irreparable shock. With this, all the hopes of this hero and his fans are now pinned on the movie ‘Kingdom’
Anirudh is providing music for the movie ‘Kingdom’. He made his debut in Telugu with the movie ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ and later provided music for ‘Jersey’ as well. ‘Devara’ has filled the gap that Anirudh said he could not achieve significant commercial success in Telugu. Anirudh, who is currently providing music for the movie ‘Kingdom’, is very busy with other films. This is the reason why he is not able to give the film a proper slot for re-recording. Background music is the lifeblood of such out-and-out action movies. Moreover, these days, even some movies with poor story and screenplay have made a living with BGM.
However, the makers are doubtful whether Anirudh, who is currently under a lot of pressure, will be able to give the right output. For this reason, they are thinking about pushing the release date back a bit. If it does not release on May 30, it will have to go to June. However, many films have already been put on hold in June. Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s movie ‘Thug Life’ is releasing on June 5. ‘Kubera’ directed by Sekhar Kammula in the Dhanush and Nagarjuna combo will be released on June 20. Manchu Vishnu’s ‘Kannappa’ will be released a week later, on June 27.
On the other hand, there are reports that Pawan Kalyan’s movie ‘Harihara Veeramallu’ will be postponed even though it was announced to release on May 9. If that happens, the right date for ‘Kingdom’ may not be found in the month of June. If there is a solo release date, June 13 is the only one left. In the meantime, if someone puts a kerchief on it, there will be competition. And the makers have to respond to know whether ‘Kingdom’ will come on the scheduled date or whether it will be shifted to June.
