The House of Commons of the UK Parliament will host House of Commons and honor Telugu cinema’s legendary hero, megastar Chiranjeevi Konidela, for his outstanding contributions to society via his cultural influence. On March 19, Navendu Mishra, a member of the ruling Labour Party from Stockport, UK, will present the congratulations. Bob Blackman and Sojan Joseph are among the other MPs who will be attending the event.
On the same platform, Bridge India will then present Chiranjeevi with the “Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Public Service through Cultural Leadership” in recognition of his outstanding contributions to philanthropy, public service, and film. One well-known organization in the UK that attempts to influence public policy is Bridge India. Bridge India honors people who have a lasting social impact in addition to their professional accomplishments.
This is the first time the organization has given a Lifetime Achievement award to a single person. This honor adds another feather to Chiranjeevi’s already coveted crown. These honors are unique in that they are given by UK parliamentarians and a well-known organization like Bridge India on a global scale.
It is well known that Chiranjeevi received the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian honor, in 2024. Chiranjeevi received the Guinness World Record for Most Prolific Actor/Dancer that same year. During the ANR Centennial year in 2024, the Akkineni International Foundation also presented Chiranjeevi with the esteemed ANR National Award.
Chiranjeevi Awarded with Padma Bushan:
Chiranjeevi received India’s second-highest civilian honor, the Padma Vibhushan, last year. In addition, he achieved a Guniess World Record for his outstanding performances and dancing abilities. Following that, during the ANR centennial year, Akkineni International Foundation Honored him with ANR National Award. This acknowledgement at the House of Commons will now be an additional feather in his cap, showing his impact as a global cultural phenomenon.
