Mithra Mandali Budget: After small-budget successful entertainers like Balagam and Little Hearts, this is yet another comedy-drama gearing up to make hits — Mithra Mandali. The film stars Priyadarshi, Niharika NM, Vishnu Oi, Rag Mayur, Prasad Behara, Vennela Kishore, Satya. The film, according to the team, is meant to be an entertaining friendship drama biscuit amid an urban backdrop that most people can relate to. Directed by Vijayendar S, the movie mixes fun and emotion and nostalgia — that combines a cocktail that worked wonders for so many midrange Telugu films of late.
According to the sources from the industry, Mithra Mandali may have been made with a budget of around ₹10–12 crores, including all promotions and music rights. For the film to be called a hit, it has to collect somewhere about ₹20 crores worldwide to ensure profit for both the producers and the distributors.
The digital, satellite, and audio rights are expected to accumulate about ₹6–7 crore, giving a rich head-start for any movie even before a theatrical release. Earlier this year, Little Hearts astonished trade analysts by making in excess of ₹33 crore lifetime collections from an investment of ₹24 lakh. Simple storytelling, coupled with youthful energy, connected well with audiences across the Telugu states. Mithra Mandali now has similar expectations — delivering freshness through relatable humor and strong performances rather than high-end visuals.
