That pillar, so far, is Nandamuri Balakrishna. And the reason behind this discussion is that yesterday (i.e, Monday), Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anand met with Tollywood heroes and producers. This was after Hyderabad Cyber Crime arrested a piracy gang. With operations valued at around ₹2 crores, five key members were caught, and many hard disks, piracy devices, and other equipment were seized. This is great news for the industry, which has long suffered from piracy. Many film celebrities went to congratulate CP Anand for this achievement.

Where was Balakrishna?
Among those who attended were Megastar Chiranjeevi, King Nagarjuna, Daggubati Venkatesh, actors like Nani, and producers like Dil Raju. However, Balakrishna, who is considered a pillar of the industry and a major figure in Tollywood, was absent. Balakrishna had been informed about the meeting by film personalities. His absence has now become a hot topic in the industry. Was it a deliberate decision? Questions are being asked.

Chiranjeevi vs Balakrishna:
The ongoing Mega vs Nandamuri episode, in both cinema and politics, has escalated over the past two days. Balayya’s comments insulting Chiranjeevi in the AP Assembly created a stir. Mega fans even planned to file complaints against him in 300 police stations before Chiranjeevi stepped in to smooth things over. If Balakrishna had attended the meeting and shown camaraderie with Chiranjeevi, tensions between the Mega and Nandamuri camps might have eased. But his absence on Monday has only intensified the feud. Industry insiders believe Balayya stayed away because Chiranjeevi was present.

Tollywood Industry Pillars:
Nandamuri Balakrishna is regarded as a pillar of Tollywood. But recently, his actions have not reflected that status. During the film workers’ strike, workers approached Balayya for support, but he reportedly did little to resolve the issue. Chiranjeevi is actively taking initiatives to solve industry problems, with Venkatesh and Nagarjuna contributing as well. But many say that Balayya has not done enough for the betterment of the industry.
