Nani HIT 3 Kashmir schedule turned into tragedy as Young woman died on the sets. Nani’s upcoming thriller, HIT 3, wrapped up the Kashmir schedule a few days ago. According to latest reports, a tragic death of a young woman crew member named Ms. Krishna KR has left the entire unit in utter grief.

Krishna KR worked as assistant director of photography on HIT 3. She was rushed to Srinagar Government Medical College Hospital on December 23 with a chest illness. Krishna KR was allegedly healing and able to contact with her family members over the phone. Krishna, however, died on Monday morning, only hours before being transferred to the general ward, as a result of a cardiac attack.

Women in Cinema Collective issued an statement confirming Krishna KR death on their Facebook page and other social media platforms. It stated, ”It is with profound sorrow that we inform you of the untimely demise of our dear member, Ms. Krishna KR, earlier this morning. She passed away due to a cardiac arrest following a chest infection while on a shoot in Kashmir.”

The statement further reads, Cinematographer and member of the Women in Cinema Collective, KR Krishna passed away. Krishna was shooting in Arunachal Pradesh and Kashmir. Meanwhile, he got a chest infection and was admitted to the hospital. Later the disease worsened and he died. Priyanka Krishna was a talented cinematographer, a friend who always faced any adversity with a smile and an energetic activist. Her talent and energy will forever inspire us.

It extends, Krishna was an accomplished cinematographer and an active member of WCC, admired for her talent, passion, and unwavering zeal for her craft. Her contributions to the collective and the film fraternity will always be remembered with deep respect and admiration. The funeral will be held in Perumbavoor.
