Nani to Reunite with SS Rajamouli: HIT: The Third Case (HIT 3) is the most awaited Telugu movies of 2025, which released on May 1. Pre-release event frenzy set new records at the Hyderabad event, where the pathfinder RRR director SS Rajamouli was the guest of honour for the event. In the course of the celebrations, Rajamouli made a big scoop about his fantasy movie on the Mahabharata.
During the event, the host asked Rajamouli if he would collaborate with Nani for his Mahabharata project. Initially hesitant, the director eventually confirmed, “Definitely, Nani will be part of my film based on Mahabharata.” This announcement has sparked immense excitement among fans, marking the first official casting news for the epic venture. Rajamouli’s Mahabharata has been a long-standing dream, envisioned as a multi-part cinematic masterpiece.
On the occasion, Nani hesitated not at all to talk about his great admiration for Rajamouli, recalling his working days. He talked about one such defining moment when he stayed in Prasad’s IMAX watching his day one, first show films patiently waiting to observe how Rajamouli responded. With years going by, Nani said, the director turned into a cinema magician, propelling him onward to try and discover in his acting.
