Nidhhi Agerwal Wraps Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Actor Nidhhi Agerwal has finally wrapped up shooting her portions for the much-anticipated Telugu action drama, Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM). Taking nearly five years to complete the film, she claims that it was a lengthy but fulfilling journey.
I have just finished the patchwork, and my parts are wrapped up. It has been a decent journey with this film because we have travelled along with it for a long time. Kudos to the producers for keeping it all together,” acknowledges Nidhhi, citing the challenges of working on a period film, which is more work and time as a norm.
Set in the 17th-century Mughal era, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is the story of an outlaw. While the film does incorporate historical elements, Nidhhi clarifies that both she and Pawan Kalyan play fictional characters. “Only Aurangzeb’s character existed, but the world that revolves around it is fictional,” she affirms.
Terming HHVM as the biggest film of her life so far, Nidhhi explains the excitement of playing Panchami, a character who has various colours to her. “She is not stereotypical; she is spicy, has a large presence in the film, and drives the story,” she explains.
Both educated in Kathak and ballet, Nidhhi’s dance background has carried over into her acting career. But for HHVM, she has also trained in Bharatnatyam and horse riding. “Car driving was impossible here. I have learned with a horse named Arthi—we’re speaking terms now,” she says in laughter.
Nidhhi has performed star-studded films like HHVM alongside Pawan Kalyan and her upcoming one, Raja Saab, alongside Prabhas. Defining the belief that she does just high-budget movies, she responds, “It’s not that I do big films only; I just keep getting more of those. I also got opportunities for woman-oriented films in Tamil, but did not pursue them because the stories were not strong. I read the entire storyline.”

While HHVM is all set to launch on May 9, Nidhhi hopes for her choices and believes in God’s timing. “Right things happen at the right time, and I don’t have doubts about my decisions.”
With Raja Saab being produced already, a horror-romantic comedy with Prabhas, Nidhhi is excited ahead: “It’s the best set I’ve ever worked on. Prabhas is returning in his old-school avatar, and I have horror as well as comedy scenes—I’m going to have an incredible experience!”
