Pawan Kalyan addresses OG release delay, film team issues a statement requesting fans refrain from chanting OG in the public places.

During a recent media chit-chat session, AP Deputy CM and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan candidly spoke about his upcoming film. He stated that the OG producers and directors of his upcoming films failed to utilize his dates properly. Pawan Kalyan said, I clearly told them that I would be working for only a specific time, but the makers of three films were not prepared well in advance.

Deputy Chief Minister further added, “I worked for more days than I promised. Regarding Ustaad Bhagat Singh, the script was not ready, which was the major reason for the delay. I pushed the OG team, and because of me, the shoot is progressing rapidly. I suggested the team to shoot all parts of every scene that didn’t involve me. There are 8-9 days of shooting left for Hari Hara Veera Mallu.

OG – They Call Him OG is gangster action thriller film written and directed by Sujeeth and funded by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainment with an estimated budget of Rs 250 crores. Initially OG was scheduled to release on 27 September 2024, but was postponed due to production delays. The makers OG have now issued a statement on social media, urging fans to refrain from chanting OG at public events and promised to make an official announcement about the film’s release date soon.

It is said that Hari Hara Veera Mallu team is now busy working on pre-visualization and made it clear it will be the first film to release among the three. Jyothi Krishna is now handling the direction, and Niddhi Agerwal plays the female lead. It depicts the life of legendary outlaw Veera Mallu, who is tasked with the job of stealing the Koh-i-Noor diamond from the Mughals. The periodic thriller stars Pawan Kalyan in the titular role, alongside Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri and Nora Fatehi. It is set in the 17th century Mughal Empire. Pawan Kalyan starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit is scheduled to release worldwide on 28 March 2025 in theatres worldwide in multiple languages.
