Posani Krishna Murali Arrest: What happened in his house?

Actor Posani Krishna Murali was arrested by the Obulavaripalle police in Annamayya district. He was taken into custody at his residence in a Gachibowli apartment in Hyderabad on Wednesday night and subsequently transferred from Hyderabad to Obulavaripalle.

The arrest involved some dramatic moments. When the police arrived, Posani got into an argument with them, expressing that he was not feeling well. He requested that if notices were issued, they should wait until he recovered before he would appear for questioning.
More about the incident:
The Andhra Pradesh Police arrested Posani Krishna Murali in Hyderabad. The Obulavaripalle police collaborated with the Hyderabad Rayadurgam police to reach his house. Upon their arrival, Posani appeared shocked and questioned their presence, stating, “I don’t know who you are. Why should I come with you?” He insisted on needing medical treatment, suggesting he would comply only after he felt better.

The police responded, “We are here to arrest you according to the law. Please cooperate.” A tense exchange ensued, with Posani interrogating how the police could enter his home. The officers clarified, “We can enter anywhere if we have to arrest you.”

Despite the police formally stating that they were arresting him, Posani initially refused to accept the notice. Eventually, they proceeded with the arrest and informed his wife, who he advised not to sign any notices. Ultimately, they did serve him with a notice, arrested him, and took him to Annamayya district. He is expected to be taken to the Obulavaripalle Police Station, undergo medical examinations at the Railway Kodur Government Hospital, and then be presented in court.

Posani previously served as the chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Film and Television Development Corporation (APFTVDC) during the previous government. He has faced accusations of using abusive language against women, alongside other political figures such as Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh. Following the coalition government’s assumption of power, multiple complaints were filed against him at various police stations, leading to a series of registered cases.
