Prabhas’ Spirit: It won’t be surprising to hear that Prabhas’ fans are receiving mixed informations with updates on his next film Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The highly anticipated film combined with a tense plot seem to be an easy launch for a new franchise on cop-action stories. However, apparently, the latest updates around this project have disappointed many followers as the project does not seem to be moving forward.
The first announcement by Sandeep Reddy Vanga was that shooting for Spirit would begin sometime in October or November of this year. However, new reports say that there has been another deferment and that filming will now start in February of 2026. This breaking of news has come as muy disheartened news to the many fans, especially since it was released around Prabhas’s birthday.
The expectation is shooting international, where the film set in Mumbai, Mexico, Thailand, and Indonesia will be the next huge location for such a spectacular-looking film. Prabhas might don two different looks for the film, which includes one of him during a significant flashback scene occurring in Mumbai. It has the plot basis toward the end and will leave on a cliffhanger for a sequel, thus paving the path for the franchise.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial plus Prabhas’ star power makes it enormous excitement. Spirit isn’t an exception, and fans still have a lot of hopes for the high-pressure action entertainment Valdes has been hearing about. All the forward propelling only makes the wait even longer, leaving the audience thirsty for the first glimpse of Prabhas in this avatar of cop-action.
Filming now delayed for another year, Spirit seems to be one of the most-awaited releases in the length-and-breadth of Prabhas’ career.
