Prabhas is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated upcoming horror comedy drama The Raja Saab. Filmmakers People Media Factory shared an exciting updates from the film’s shoot.

The statement reads The Raja Saab shooting is progressing rapidly with continuous day and night schedules. Nearly 80% of the shoot has been completed, and post production work is in full swing We’ve noticed various speculations circulating about the teaser release during Christmas or New Year. We kindly request you not to believe these false rumors. We will officially announce any updates at the right time. Prabhas’ horror comedy flick revolves around a young man, Raja who sets his eyes on his ancestral property to ease him out of a cash crunch. But soon he realised that the mansion is haunted by the vengeful spirit of Raja Saab. It is said that the flick takes place at the backdrop of an old cinema theatre. Prabhas reportedly plays dual roles in the film, as the owner of an theatre and another as a ghost, playing both grandson and grandfather.

The film has music is composed by Thaman S, cinematography handled by Karthik Palani and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. It is bankrolled by T. G. Vishwa Prasad under the banner People Media Factory with an estimated budget of Rs 250 crore.

The film stars Prabhas in the titular role, alongside Nidhhi Agerwal, and Malavika Mohanan  in the lead roles.The Raja Saab marks the maiden collaboration between Prabhas and Maruthi, and Maruthi called it a golden opportunity to direct a star like Prabhas.

The Raja Saab was scheduled to be released in theatres worldwide on 10 April 2025 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages. But it is reported that it seems like this film will be postponed and then it would be released in May 2025.
