Global Star Ram Charan is gearing up for the releases of his much anticipated political action thriller  Game Changer directed by Shankar. With less than a month to go for the release, the last-minute production activities are going on at a full speed now.

According to recent reports the political action thriller film has a solid runtime of 2 hours 45 minutes. This is more or less, the ideal runtime for a commercial film these days. Given the scale and canvas of this sociopolitical action drama, 2 hours and 45 minutes is more or less the optimal runtime.

So far, Sri Venkateswara Creations have released a teaser alongside three songs, and reports suggest that two more are on the way. With Thaman composing the music, the tracks have already started creating buzz. Fans are hopeful that Ram Charan will tease exclusive updates.

The political drama marks S. Shankar in his Telugu directorial debut, from a story written by Karthik Subbaraj, and produced by Adityaram Movies,Sri Venkateswara Creations, together with Zee Studios.The film stars Ram Charan in dual roles, alongside S. J. Suryah, Kiara Advani, Anjali, Samuthirakani, Srikanth, Prakash Raj and Sunil.

A source revealed that director Shankar initially estimated the production cost at Rs 250 crore (US$30 million). However, by July 2024, reports indicated that the budget had risen to Rs 400 crore. The Tamil dubbed version of the film is being distributed by Adityaram, under Adityaram Movies. Anil Thadani of AA Films acquired the distribution rights of the dubbed Hindi version for North India.

The film is now set for a grand theatrical release on 10 January, coinciding with  South Indian festival Sankranti. and the promotional campaign will be commencing in a week or two. The advance bookings in the overseas belt are slowly opening up and they will be fully functional by the third week of December.
