Ram Charan political thriller Game Changer gets a 2-week ticket hike in AP

Ram Charan and Kaira Advani’s highly awaited political thriller Game Changer gets a 2-week ticket hike in Andhra Pradesh. Also read on for more updates about the project here.


Game Changer’s hype and expectations are sky-high as the Shankar directorial is scheduled to be released on 10 January 2025, coinciding with Sankranti. According to recent reports, the Andhra Pradesh government issued a GO allowing a significant increase in ticket prices for the film Game Changer during the Sankranti festival. The decision includes special permissions for additional shows to maximize audience turnout.

It is said that the AP government approved ticket rates hikes of Rs 135 (including GST) at single screens and Rs 175 (including GST) at multiplexes from January 11 to 23. On Saturday evening, the Andhra Pradesh government issued a G.O. in this regard, allowing up to 6 shows (including the benefit shows at 1 AM) on January 10. The benefit shows have been capped at Rs 600 (incl. GST) per ticket. Additionally, theatres are permitted to host five shows daily during this time.


This means ticket prices for Game Changer in Andhra Pradesh will stand at Rs 352 for multiplexes and Rs 282.50 for single screens during the first 14 days, including GST. From the 15th day onward, prices will be reduced to Rs 177 for multiplexes and Rs 147 for single screens. With the new tickets, the Ram Charan starrer has the opportunity to generate massive box office collections in the state

The upcoming political action thriller is funded by Dil Raju under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations with an estimated budget of Rs 500 crores, including marketing costs. The film stars Ram Charan in dual roles, alongside Kiara Advani, Anjali, Samuthirakani, S. J. Suryah, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, and Sunil.

Game Changer is scheduled to be released on 10 January 2025, coinciding with Sankranti, in standard, IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Cinema, and EPIQ formats in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada,
