The next film starring Ram Charan is Peddi, an action drama about rural sports. Uppena star Buchi Babu Sana is the film’s director. RC 16 Update:
Ram’s 16th movie, tentatively titled RC 16, is Peddi. The movie’s title and his first appearance were revealed in two posters that the directors unveiled on his 40th birthday. On one poster, he was seen holding a cricket bat and smoking a beedi while gazing intently into the camera. Ram seemed unpolished and rustic in the posters, with a beard, messy hair, and a scarred face. Ram’s admirers immediately pointed out that he had already portrayed a rustic character in the 2018 movie Rangasthalam, despite comparisons to Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Raj.
Glimpse Details:
People are cheering for Ram as he steps onto a dusty ground in the peek. He talks about wanting to live life to the fullest and that he only has one life to live while smoking a beedi. He asserts that “I must do whatever I want as long as I’m alive,” or “Edaina ee nela mida unnapude seseyala.” Despite the lack of detail, the glimpse concludes with Ram playing cricket and doing quite well. The announcement that Peddi will hit theaters on March 27, 2026, closes the preview.
Star Cast:
In addition to Ram and Janhvi, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu play important parts in Peddi. Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings will present the film, which is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru.R Rathnavelu is the film’s cinematographer, and AR Rahman is writing the soundtrack. The film is now in production, having begun filming in Hyderabad last year. Following Divyendu’s Tollywood debut and Devara: Part 1, this is Janhvi’s second Telugu film.
