According to the media sources, the property was owned by the Daggubati family, but they have leased it to a man named Nanda Kumar. As per the reports, in November 2022, GHMC demolished a portion of the hotel and the corner structures constructed by Nanda Kumar, as they were unauthorized. Following this, the Daggubati family demolished the complete building in January and told Mr. Nanda Kumar to approach the Nampally court for violation of court orders. During this court hearing, Mr. Nanda Kumar said that he suffered a loss of around 20 crore rupees because of the demolition.
