Ravi Teja is currently busy in filming yet to be titled action drama film directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu, marking Bhanu’s directorial debut. Meanwhile, It has been reported that Ravi Teja is interested in remaking critically acclaimed Malayalam blockbuster hit film Aavesham in Telugu, which is yet to conformed by the actor.
Aavesham, the most celebrated Malayalam blockbuster starring Pan India star Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, is now set to get a Telugu remake very soon. Ravi Teja has reportedly acquired the remake rights to the Malayalam hit Aavesham, which collected over 100 crores. The film’s plot and characterization would be a perfect fit for Mass Maharaja’s style. However, It is still fascinating to watch if Ravi Teja will star or produce the film under his home banner, RT Team Works.
The action comedy film film follows three aeronautical engineering students Aju, Bibi and Shanthan in Bangalore who befriends a local gangster, Ranga portrayed by Fahadh Faasil to help them take revenge on their school bully. It was made with an estimated budget of Rs 30 crores and released without any expectation but received critical acclaim from critics with praise for its direction, performances (especially Fahadh Faasil and Sajin Gopu), action sequences, cinematography, music and technical aspects and earned more than Rs 154.60 crores.

This gangster thriller was releases in south languages including in Telugu on Amazon Prime Video and The Hindi version of the film was released in Disney+ Hotstar and well-received on both OTT platforms.
Ravi Teja’s last success was Dhamaka, and he’s hoping for a similar response with his current project. If he brings his energetic style to Aavesham, it could be a promising venture, with more details expected soon.
While, Fahadh Faasil is currently working on the pan-India project Pushpa: The Rule, which is set for a grand release on December 5. Meanwhile, Ravi Teja is busy with the RT 75 project.
