RRR, starring NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, was a global sensation. This Rajamouli’s directorial collected over Rs. 1300 crores gross at the worldwide box office and won the highly prestigious Oscar award for the song Naatu Naatu.

The movie has also managed to win the hearts of Westerners. The team has crafted a documentary to showcase what happened behind the scenes. The upcoming documentary is titled RRR Beyond and Behind the documentary will be screened in select theatres on December 20, 2024. The film is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), who fought against the British Raj.
RRR received universal critical acclaim for its direction, execution, screenwriting, cast performances, cinematography, soundtrack, action sequences and VFX. With Rs 223 crore worldwide on its first day, RRR recorded the highest opening-day earned by an Indian film. It emerged as the highest-grossing film in its home market of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, grossing over Rs 406 crore. The film grossed Rs 1,387 crore worldwide, setting several box office records for an Indian film.
