Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya’s much anticipated action thriller film Thandel directed by Karthikeya, Premam , Bloody Mary fame Chandoo Mondeti, is expected to be released on February 7, 2025. This date intentionally positions the film immediately before Valentine’s Day, which is a heartfelt love narrative.

Thandel makers took to their social media account ,officially announced film’s release date and shared a exciting new poster highlighting the chemistry between Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi , implying an intense love story between. The intriguing new poster is generating excitement among Tollywood cine fans eager to see this beloved duo on screen once again.

The upcoming action drama follows a fisherman , portrayed by Naga Chaitanya in Srikakulam who gets caught by the Pakistan forces in international waters and and faces arrest by the Pakistani Navy. The film is said to be perfect blend of romance, action, and dramatic moments.

The Chandoo Mondeti directorial Thandel draws inspiration from real events that occurred in the village of D Matchilesam in Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh. The action drama film’s music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while cinematography, edited, art direction is handled by Shamdat, Naveen Nooli, and Srinagendra Tangala. 

Naga Chaitanya made his digital debut with the Amazon Prime Video’s web series, Dhootha, where he played an investigation journalist and received critical acclaim for his outstanding performance. While Sai Pallavi was last seen in Tamil biographical action war film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International,  Amaran starring alongside Sivakarthikeyan and received critical acclaim for her strong performances and characterization.

Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya was last starred in blockbuster hit film Love Story and are now gearing up for their upcoming action thriller film’s grand theatrical debut on February 7, 2025. It is said the the film is set to release in multiple languages.
