Samantha Ruth Prabhu discussed her first salary. The actress from Citadel once said that even though she only got paid for working eight hours a day, she was always happy.
Her First Salary:
A few years ago, Samantha disclosed in an Instagram AMA session that her first pay was Rs 500 for working eight hours as a conference hostess at a hotel. She added that at the time, she was in the tenth or eleventh grade.
She said, “My first income was 500 rupees for an eight-hour day as a hostess in a hotel for a conference…I was in 10th standard or 11th standard.” Samantha is currently among the top paid Indian actresses. According to sources, she was paid Rs 10 crore for her part in the Hindi television series Citadel: Honey Bunny, in which she costarred in with Varun Dhawan.

It is said that Samantha is taking a stand for equal pay in South Indian cinema. Under her productions, she made sure to pay both male and female actors equally. After this, she gained immense respect and appreciation from the industry for the progress toward equal pay.
Samantha Upcoming Projects:
Regarding her career, Samantha is presently working on several projects, including the online series Rakt Brahmand, which she co-created with Aditya Roy Kapur. She will next be featured in the starring role in Bangaram, which she is producing. She is reportedly being considered for the female lead in RC17, starring Ram Charan and Sukumar. An official confirmation is still pending, though.
