The motivational queen Samantha Ruth Prabhu has recently revealed the reason behind recreating her wedding dress.

It is known to everyone that Samantha’s divorce has affected her a lot. Soon after she announced her divorce she was diagnosed with dermatomyositis. After a lot of ups and downs following her divorce, the actress has finally bounced back.

In a recent interview, actress Samantha described why she repurposed her bridal garment. On a fine day through her Instagram post, she let the world know that she turned her white wedding gown into a black dress.

When she was asked about the reason behind that she said, “The reason why I repurposed my wedding gown was that – initially, it really hurt. I decided to flip it. I decided to own it. I am separated, I’m divorced. Things haven’t been a fairytale. But, that does not mean I sit in a corner, cry about it and never ever have the courage to live again. It wasn’t any kind of revenge or anything. It really wasn’t a ginormous gesture. It was that – yes it has happened. I know it and I can’t hide from it. This doesn’t mean my life ends there. It begins where it ends.”

The actress also said that she is over her past now and looking forward to what life has to offer her. She said, “I’m very happy right now. I’ve grown so much, and I am doing incredible work, and I’m looking forward to the next stage in my life.”

Following her divorce, Samantha battled the rare disease dermatomyositis. She took a small break from the camera to heal herself. Since the major heartbreaking events occurred in her life, Samantha has been active on her social media. She shares some, motivational quotes to inspire her fans to never give up. She also urges women to be independent at any cost in their lives.
