Sankranthi releases : Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan reportedly approved massive ticket rate hikes. The latest news is that all three Sankranthi releases, including Daaku Maharaaj and Sankranthiki Vasthunam, will be granted massive hikes in Andhra Pradesh by the NDA government.
As the festive season approaches, the Tollywood gears up to entertain the audience with the much awaited Sankranthi 2025 releases, bringing joy and entertainment to audiences across the state from the mass entertainers to family comedy films likes of Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj , Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunam , Sandeep Kishan’s Majaka and Bellamkinda Sai Srinivas’s action thriller.
Ram Charan’s much anticipated political thriller Game Changer directed by Shankar is undoubtedly the biggest film for the festival, and it will be provided with more hikes. It marks director Shankar Telugu debut film. The political thriller is se to release on 10 January 2025 will be allowed a hike of Rs. 135 in single screens, while the enhancement will be Rs. 175 in multiplexes. For benefit shows scheduled from 1 AM, the movie will be permitted a hike of Rs. 600 (inclusive of GST).
Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj will be given a Rs. 110 hike in single screens and a Rs. 135 hike in multiplexes. Balayya’s film has benefit shows scheduled from 4 AM, and the hike is Rs. 500 (inclusive of GST) for these shows. It is set to release worldwide on 12 January 2025.
Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunam will have a hike of Rs. 75 for single screens, and for multiplexes, the ticket rate enhancement is Rs. 100. As massive hikes will be allowed for all three films, openings will be huge in Andhra Pradesh, but to enjoy the long run content plays the key role.
