South legendary director Mani Ratnam unveiled sci-fi adventure thriller Kaliyugam 2064 much anticipated first look on 16th November , 2024. Kaliyugam 2064 is bankrolled by K.S. Ramakrishna under RK International banner.

The upcoming Tollywood is a sci-fi adventure thriller is being planned as a bilingual project directed by Promod Sundar stars Shraddha Srinath and Kishore in the lead roles and explores the life and survival in the year 2064, following the era of Kali Yuga. The film’s much awaited first poster was officially shared by renowned South director Mani Ratnam, who praised its unique concept and expressed confidence in its success. 

In Hinduism Kali Yuga is the fourth, shortest, and worst of the four yugas in a Yuga Cycle, preceded by Dvapara Yuga and followed by the next cycle’s Krita Yuga. According to the Vedic Purana scripts , Lord Krishna’s death marked the end of Dvapara Yuga and the start of Kali Yuga, which is dated to 17/18 February 3102 BCE. Lasting for 432,000 years (1,200 divine years), Kali Yuga began 5,125 years ago and has 426,875 years left as of 2024 CE. Kali Yuga will end in the year 428,899 CE. It is said that the present age, Kali Yuga which is full of conflict and sin. Near the end of Kali Yuga, when virtues are at their worst, a cataclysm and a re-establishment of dharma occur to usher in the next cycle’s Krita (Satya) Yuga, prophesied to occur by Kalki.

Finally the talented actress Shraddha Srinath, known for her role in Jersey alongside Nani, is getting roles she deserved, while Kishore plays a pivotal role in the film. In a recent conversation with media film’s producer K.S. Ramakrishna emphasized that the film’s relevance to contemporary audiences, appealing to young people and families.

It is reported that film’s visual effects and other graphics were all done in Norway, with Hollywood standards. The Promod Sundar directorial sci-fi adventure thriller is set for worldwide grand debut soon .
