The trailer of Shankar-Ram Charan’s Game Changer was launched at a special event at Hyderabad today, 2nd January, which was graced by SS Rajamouli. The RRR director said, I don’t see Game Changer as Shankar garu’s debut in Telugu because for many of us, he is not a Tamil director but a Telugu director. Telugu cinema audience and Telugu filmmakers, past and present, have immense respect on Shankar. Dil Raju did this film with you because of that respect and pride.

SS.Rajamouli further said , Today’s filmmakers are definitely doing a lot of big-budget films that are made with hundreds of crores, and are released all across the country. For many filmmakers, who are now trying their wares in cinema, might see a lot of us doing these things. But for us, he is the OG the original gangster, the director of big-screen entertainment. He is the inspiration for a lot of us filmmakers, who were only assistant directors then.

Director added ,Shankar gave us the confidence that we can scale up our vision, and if we convincingly bring it on screen, the audience would turn up in droves to watch our films. He gave us that confidence. He also spoke about Ram Charan, he said ,I am very happy for my brother. I could see a sea of difference in the Ram Charan of Magadheera and the Ram Charan of RRR. I’m happy how he has come up in his career, and has learnt to hit the emotional chords and the mass moments.
