SS Rajamouli: After frankly admitting that he does not believe in God, director SS Rajamouli, famous for producing epic mythological-inspired works such as Baahubali and RRR, has sparked considerable controversy. The director stated this at the launch of his next movie, Varanasi, a moment he said was emotionally charged and really intimate.


Rajamouli said that the comment came from a chat with his father, who tried to calm him by saying that “Lord Hanuman will take care of everything from behind.” Thinking over this, the filmmaker confessed that statements like those bug him. “I don’t have faith in God. I was irritated when my father said Hanuman Swamy would take care of things. He said, “Thinking over it still vexes me.”

Beliefs Shared by Families and Individual Conflict: Rajamouli additionally disclosed that his wife has a great dedication to Lord Hanuman and converses with the god as though he were a close acquaintance.
