SSMB29 :  RRR director S.S.Rajamouli shares an exciting update from upcoming action flick with Mahesh Babu. Following the global success of RRR, director S.S.Rajamouli announced a project with Tollywood prince Mahesh Babu and ever since the announcement the film is trending on social media .

According to a source the film’s the script is already complete and is under pre production process. Recently Mahesh has been spotted with a new look, sporting long hair and a beard, actor fans speculated that the look is from his film with S.S.Rajamouli. In a recent conversation with a media, When asked if he would re create any scenes from RRR in SSMB29,” he revealed that this film would feature even more high animals. So we can expect more action sequences like RRR interval animal fight scenes in the upcoming film.

SSMB29 is set against the backdrop of the Amazon rainforest and follows the adventurous journey of traveler, portrayed by Mahesh Babu. It is reported that actor is undergoing rigorous physical training to build muscles and grow long hair for his role. Recently he also traveled to Germany as part of his preparation.

The upcoming adventurous film is being bankrolled by  KL Narayana under the Durga Arts banner with an estimated budget of more than Rs 1000 crores and music will be composed by Oscar winner MM Keeravani. The film shooting will go on the floors in January ,2025 and is set release in January 2027  in multiple Indian and international languages .

 Mahesh Babu was last seen in Trivikram Srinivas directorial action film Guntur Kaaram starring alongside Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary.  The movie was released on 12 January 2024,  Sankranti, to mostly negative reviews, but Babu’s performance was praised. It eventually emerged as a box office bomb.

The action dram film Guntur Kaaram is now available to stream on Ott platform Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
