After Kanguva emerged as a disaster at the box office, Suriya is now gearing up for his upcoming film tentatively called Suriya 45 directed by RJ Balaji. The actor is well known for his work in Mookuthi Amman and Nanum Rowdy Dhaan. Now he is all set to collaborate with Suriya in his upcoming film. After Kanguva failed, Suriya now wanted to concentrate on his upcoming films. In the latest revelation, Trisha Krishnan has officially joined Suriya.
The rumours began back few months ago stating that Trisha Krishnan will reunite with Suriya for Suriya 45 after two decades. Now the makers have officially announced the female lead. The makers took their social media accounts and posted a poster featuring Trisha Krishnan, and wrote Welcome on board Trisha along with the tentative title suriya 45. The director RJ Balaji captioned the post “Congratulations on 22 glorious years @trishtrashers. And we are elated to start the 23rd year with #Suriya45.”
As Kanguva Suriya is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video, the actor is now gearing up for his next film with director RJ Balaji. The rumours suggest that Suriya and Trisha Krishnan will be shooting togeather now. The shooting will reportedly take place in Coimbatore soon. The film is being produced by S.R. Prabhu, and S.R. Prakash Babu under Dream Warrior Pictures. Music will be composed by A. R. Rahman. The movie is already generating significant hype with the reunion of Suriya and Trisha Krishnan.
Now, Suriya and Trisha Krishnan are paired yet again for Suriya 45. But the duo was superhit back in the day, they were paired 3 times in films. They first shared screen space in 2002 for a film called Mounam Pesiyadhe. They were again paired in 2004 for Mani Ratnam’s film Aayutha Ezhuthu. The duo became most loved and the next year they were seen together in a film called Aaru in 2005. Now the most loved duo is coming together again after 19 years for Suriya 45.
