Dil Raju About Betting App Promotion: The promotion of betting apps has created a huge sensation in recent times. Several celebrities faced cases for endorsing such apps and even attended ED hearings. Many of them promised not to engage in such promotions again. Now, Telangana Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju has spoken out on this issue.

Betting Apps Linked to Piracy
Dil Raju made it clear that no celebrity from Tollywood will promote betting apps. He also highlighted CM Revanth Reddy’s vision of making Hyderabad a global hub for the film industry and stressed that everyone should stay away from such activities. His comments on piracy during the same discussion also created a buzz.

Losses Running into Thousands of Crores
Movie piracy has been a massive problem, with HD prints leaking online on the very first day of release. Despite continuous efforts, piracy has not been completely stopped. Recently, with the arrest of a Telangana cybercrime piracy gang, Dil Raju thanked the Telangana Cyber Crime Police for their efforts. He revealed that the government is losing nearly 18% revenue in GST due to piracy. According to police, the Indian film industry has suffered losses of around ₹22,400 crore because of movie piracy. Shockingly, betting and gaming app operators are said to be behind these piracy networks.

Tollywood to Stay Away from Betting Promotions
Dil Raju assured that Tollywood celebrities will no longer take part in betting app promotions. Following this, he also said that most of the big films have fallen into this trap, even Pawan Kalyan’s film OG has fallen into a privacy trap. Meanwhile, Dil Raju continues to stay busy with multiple projects, not only making his mark as a top producer but also playing a key role in protecting the interests of the Telugu film industry.
