Shalini Pandey made her debut as a heroine in the film ‘Arjun Reddy’. Pandey, who recently impressed the audience with the web series ‘Dabba Cartel’, recently spoke about the challenges she faced in her career in an interview.
Shalini Pandey made her debut in Tollywood as a heroine with the movie ‘Arjun Reddy’. In this movie directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, she acted opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Not only did she taste blockbuster success with her debut movie, but she also won the hearts of young Telugu people with her love. Currently, she is getting a series of opportunities in Hindi. Speaking in a recent interview, she shared her experiences in the industry.
As part of the promotions of ‘Dabba Cartel’, Shalini Pandey said in an interview, ”Early in my career, while doing a movie in South, I was embarrassed by the behavior of a director. While I was changing my dress in the caravan, he opened the door without my permission. I got angry and immediately started shouting at him. With that, he left from there. People around said that it was not right to be angry like that. I did not feel wrong about what I did. After that, I never faced any such incidents. If I did, I learned how to respond to them without getting angry,” she said.
Shalini Pandey, who hails from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, studied engineering. At that time, she started doing stage dramas with an interest in acting. Later, she entered films. Talking about her career, Shalini said, “I left my family with the hope of excelling in films. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga saw my photos on Facebook and offered me a role. When I got a call from his team, I sent the photos without even thinking whether it was real or not. That’s how I got introduced as the heroine with the film ‘Arjun Reddy’. The actors, directors and producers have been very supportive throughout my journey. They respected my opinions,” she said. However, she said that only one incident with the director left her with a bitter experience.
