“The Raja Saab,” an upcoming Telugu-language film starring Prabhas, is generating significant buzz in the Indian film industry. Directed by Maruthi Dasari, this horror-comedy also features Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles. Scheduled for release on April 10, 2025, the film is produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner.
The production budget for “The Raja Saab” is estimated to be around ₹200 crore, which is relatively modest compared to Prabhas’s previous projects.
Industry analysts are optimistic about the film’s box office performance, citing Prabhas’s strong fan base and the film’s unique genre blend. Some projections suggest that The Raja Saab could surpass the ₹1,000 crore mark globally, potentially becoming Prabhas’s third film to achieve this milestone.
However, not all forecasts are as optimistic. A Reddit discussion from two months ago expressed skepticism about the film’s potential, predicting worldwide collections between ₹365-375 crore and labeling it as a “terrible” film.
