Upcoming Telugu Movies: A few hundred films are released in Tollywood every year. But only ten among them become hits. Everything else incurs losses. This means, that even a ten percent success rate has become difficult. Looking at this year, only three or four films have achieved hit status within three months and become blockbusters. In January, Sankranthi Vasthunam became an industry hit with a collection of 300 crores. February, Thandel became a hit with a collection of 100 crores. In March, Court and Mad Square were hits.

Upcoming Telugu Movies in April

Looking at April, things do not appear very promising. No star hero films are being released. Small films are in the air. Siddu Jonnalagadda’s Jack film is coming on April 10. Kalyan Ram’s Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi is also likely to come out in April. Anchor Pradeep’s Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi will come out on April 11. Odela 2, directed by Sampath Nandi, with Tamannaah as the heroine, is coming out on April 17. There is some buzz about this movie. Let’s see what kind of result the film will get. Priyadarshi’s Sarangapani Jathakam is coming out on April 18. Let’s see to what extent Sarangapani will come together with Priyadarshi, who is on a roll after scoring a hit with the movie Court.

What to expect?

In the first week of April, however, no exciting movies are coming out. Ram Gopal Varma’s Saree movie is already not even considered a theater watch by the audience. This movie is going to hit the audience on April 4. So, it seems that people will be focused on only one movie, Jack, in April. And it remains to be seen what kind of result the audience will give to the movie directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar.

Anchor Pradeep and Priyadarshi’s movies are anticipated by at least a few. But, there is also a possibility that many people will watch movies only after they come on OTT. In fact, it is reported that even the non-theatrical rights of these movies have not been sold yet. And it remains to be seen which movie will be a hit in April.
