While the movie is running successfully in theatres her new movie with rumored beau Vijay Devarakonda was announced earlier. The movie was titled ‘The Girlfriend’. In the recently released poster of  ‘The Girlfriend’ the makers have announced that Vijay Deverakonda will introduce Rashmika Mandanna as the girlfriend to the world.

In the teaser that was out today December 9th, 2024, features Rashmika Mandanna. She is seen roaming around the college campus in different places smiling, reading books, and attending lectures in a simple outfit. While Rashmika Mandanna is portrayed Vijay Devarakonda describes her beauty in the background voice quoting a beautiful sonnet for her.

‘The Girlfriend’ marks Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s third collaboration though Vijay doesn’t play any role in the movie. They both previously worked in the films Geeta Govindam and Dear Comrade. There is also news revolving around that Vijay Deverakonda is playing an antagonist in Pushpa 3, the third part of Rashmika’s Pushpa series. If the rumors turn true then it would mark their fourth collaboration.

On the work front, Mandanna is occupied with her busy schedule. She is doing several upcoming projects, historical action drama Chhaava with Vicky Kaushal and the bilingual movie Rainbow.
