Vishnu Manchu Sparks Debate: Telugu actor and director Vishnu Manchu has again emphasized the need to give the Hindi-speaking belt its due as part of South Indian cinema. In a recent interview, he urged South-based actors and directors to go the extra mile to promote their movie in North India, recalling the money and respect they garner from the region.

According to Vishnu, the Hindi heartland has wholeheartedly embraced South Indian films, contributing significantly to their box-office success. He believes that as filmmakers expand their reach beyond regional boundaries, they should also engage with audiences nationwide.

Kannappa – A Pan-Indian Collaboration

Another film in the fantasy genre that is ready for release on June 27 is Kannappa by Vishnu Manchu. Kannappa features a stellar cast of Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, and Mohanlal in the movie, much in line with the trend of crossovers among industries.

Speaking about how he worked along with prominent actors from various film industries, Vishnu said that they were crucial for the project. Since the budget of the film was large-scale, he concentrated on maximum reach to the audience.

South Cinema’s Rising Success Across India
Vishnu Manchu also spoke about the increasing popularity of South Indian movies in Bollywood-driven areas. He said that no one calls the actors ‘South’ or ‘North’ anymore, but as Indian artists. But Vishnu further asserted that despite the fact that South films are gaining ground, the media has been extremely negative regarding Bollywood. He referred to the need for a balanced view by asserting that both the films industries have the plus and the minus.
