War 2 Update : Jr. NTR and Hrithik Roshan are busy in shooting for the upcoming spy action drama War 2. Now, there is an update about Ayan Mukerji’s directorial. 

According to a source, both actors have dedicated 60 days to the shooting of the sequel. Now it is reported that Jr. NTR  sets deadline for upcoming spy action sequel. NTR was unable to take a long break after Devara promotions because he needed to start filming War 2 in Mumbai right away. He is currently filming for the film in Mumbai . It is said that NTR has set a new deadline for the completion of War shooting by the end of December as he has to commence filming for Prashanth Neel’s film at the earliest. 

Tarak had been occupied with War 2 for a while now already and he wants to resume filming for his film with Neel now. So in all likelihood, Tarak will be done with his portion of War 2 by the end of coming month.

Jr NTR from War 2 shooting

War 2 is the 6th Installment in the YRF Spy Universe and marks Tarak much awaited Bollywood debut. The film serves directed sequel to 2019 action thriller film War directed by Siddharth Anand and follows R&AW agent Kabir Dhaliwal, Hrithik Roshan’s character who is tasked to eliminate a dangerous and anonymous person, probably NTR, but in the process, is forced to question his morals and ethics.

It is said that Yash Raj Film Production is making an effort to keep the movie under wraps, and there have been no photos of the cast in the media. But recently Tarak pics from shooting were shared online like wild fire. YRF franchise fans are excited for the upcoming project, and producer say the face-off between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will be a treat for fans. The movie is scheduled for release on August 14, 2025.
