Why Did Krish Exit Hari Hara Veeramallu?: Pawan’s Role Involved

A strong buzz is now building around Hari Hara Veeramallu, the much-anticipated historical drama starring Pawan Kalyan. The recently released song “Asura Hanuman” has received a positive response, further fueling excitement. All signs suggest that the film is poised to make a significant impact at the box office. However, one question still lingers in the industry: What exactly happened with director Krish Jagarlamudi?

Krish initially helmed the project, but due to undisclosed reasons, he exited the film. Stepping into his shoes was Jyothi Krishna, son of producer A.M. Ratnam. At the time, speculation was rife: Did Krish voluntarily step down, or was he removed from the project? Despite the buzz, the film’s team chose to remain silent, and even fans shrugged it off, focusing more on the film’s completion than the directorial shuffle.

What Went Wrong Between Pawan and Krish?
When Hari Hara Veeramallu began production, Pawan Kalyan had relatively fewer political commitments. Following the release of Vakeel Saab and while working on Bheemla Nayak, Pawan allocated time for Hari Hara Veeramallu with the intent of wrapping it up quickly.

However, sources reveal that director Krish used the gap between Pawan’s dates to work on another film, Konda Polam. While Krish informed Pawan that he would complete this film during the break and resume Veeramallu immediately afterward, things didn’t go as planned.

Pawan, reportedly unhappy with the delay and the fact that Krish prioritized another film, saw it as a lack of commitment. Moreover, Konda Polam, starring Pawan’s nephew Vaisshnav Tej, failed at the box office, which allegedly further irritated the actor-politician. According to industry insiders, Pawan viewed the situation as a misstep and a reason for unnecessary delays.

The Final Shift
Following these developments, Krish exited the project, and Jyothi Krishna took over as director. Notably, ace writer Trivikram Srinivas also stepped in to supervise parts of the production. Eventually, the team wrapped up filming, and the release date was officially announced for June 12.

While the industry continues to speculate that Pawan Kalyan played a major role in Krish’s exit, the truth remains known only to the filmmaker and the core team behind Hari Hara Veeramallu.
