IRCTC New Vande Bharat Routes in 2025: Indian Railways is going ahead with its modernisation in 2025. By further expanding the network of the Vande Bharat Express through the introduction of new routes that will enhance the speed, comfort, and connectivity of areas. These are also part of the broader initiative of the government to make travel by semi-high-speed rail accessible to all of India.
Among the new trains is Indore–Jaipur Vande Bharat Express linking the Madhya Pradesh industrial hub to the Rajasthan capital. Travel time is set to decrease substantially with the train offering business and holiday travelers with a faster and smoother journey.
There is also a new Mangaluru to Ahmedabad corridor with access that provides improved connectivity to Somnath, the pilgrim city. The May 2025-commenced service will facilitate religious tourism and bring an end to the reliance on long bus journeys.
Indian Railways is fast making strides on the much-awaited Bengaluru–Mangaluru Vande Bharat Express. With the electrification of the critical Sakleshpur–Subrahmanya Road ghat section almost done. With the last leg finally in place and running, the new semi-high-speed train will provide a faster, more comfortable, and smoother mode of travelling between Karnataka’s capital and its seaside town.
Pune will get a big boost in rail connectivity with four Vande Bharat trains proposed. These will link the city to Shegaon, Vadodara, Belagavi, and Secunderabad. Riding the increasing demand for fast business and personal travel between these important cities.
Indian Railways will also launch a Katra-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express, which will increase connectivity to the Kashmir Valley. The trip will serve both pilgrims traveling to Vaishno Devi and tourists making travel to Srinagar for vacation purposes and act to improve the region’s economic potential.
Of great significance is the fact that sleeper variants of the Vande Bharat Express will be introduced subsequently in 2025. These are aimed at enabling overnight travel more comfortably and securely for greater distances between states.

The Vande Bharat network expansion is redefining India’s rail network. With enhanced facilities, quick travel, and enhanced connectivity, the new trains have their first run in 2025 assuring semi-high-speed travel to reach the hands of millions of Indians.
