Railway Jobs 2025:
Good news for those waiting for railway jobs! The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is all set to release a new job notification under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). A total of 3,050 undergraduate posts will be filled, along with 5,800 graduate posts. The official notification will be released on October 31, 2025.

The posts under this notification include Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Station Master, Junior Clerk-cum-Typist, Trains Clerk, Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist, and Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk. These are non-technical positions, meaning specialized technical education is not required.
To apply for undergraduate posts, candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board. For General, OBC, and EWS categories, a minimum of 50% marks is required, while SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates only need a pass. Typing posts demand an additional typing skill—30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.
The age limit is 18 to 33 years, with relaxation for reserved categories as per government rules.
The selection process includes Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Stage 1 and Stage 2, followed by Typing Skill Test or Aptitude Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
The CBT 1 exam will have 100 questions: 40 from General Awareness, 30 from Mathematics, and 30 from General Intelligence and Reasoning. The exam duration will be 90 minutes. CBT 2 will have 120 questions and will also last for 90 minutes. Each wrong answer will result in a deduction of 1/3 mark.
