e-Aadhaar = Faster Tatkal Bookings:
The goal of the implementation of e-Aadhaar authentication for Tatkal ticket bookings is to stop IRCTC account abuse and make it easier for legitimate travelers to make last-minute reservations.
It is anticipated that this strategy will increase Tatkal ticket availability. When ordering Tatkal tickets, passengers have often complained that the website first shows availability. However, the ticket status frequently changes to waitlisted by the time they submit the passenger’s information and finish the payment. By expediting the booking procedure and guaranteeing equitable access to confirmed tickets, the new method aims to resolve this problem.
The goal of the proposal to implement e-Aadhaar authentication for last-minute Tatkal ticket purchasing is to increase process transparency and stop agents from making unfair bulk reservations. Due to its affordability, the railways are one of the most popular forms of transportation in the nation, used by millions of people.
Tatkal Features:
Indian Railways has improved with their service and made last last-minute ticket booking option, which is very helpful for most people. This feature helps travellers to book 24 hours before the trip. Bookings for AC berth begin at 10 AM the day before the trip, and for the sleeper class, it begins from 11 AM.
