₹14 Lakh Garland Stolen: In India, it’s customary to present the groom with a cash garland. However, when the garland was taken at gunpoint, this wedding custom became a nightmare for one Haryana groom. The unexpected turn of events? They rented the garland.
The groom was supposed to be blessed with the Rs. 14.5 lakh cash garland. The garland was being returned by a groom’s relative following the ceremony because it had been rented. He was assaulted, struck in the head, and robbed of the pricey garland at gunpoint when returning.

₹14 Lakh Garland gets Looted in Haryana:
The event happened when Mr. Shad, a relative of the groom, and another individual were riding a motorcycle back to Haryana after the wedding in Alwar, Rajasthan. They were holding 3,000 rupee notes, each worth Rs. 500, that they had rented.

They were stopped when robbers in a Hyundai Creta drove up to them close to Chuharpur hamlet and smashed their motorcycle. After that, Mr. Shad was violently seized of the cash garland and struck in the head, injuring him. Following the notification, police officers hurried to the crime scene and searched. According to Deputy SP Kailash Chaudhary, a case has been filed in response to Mr. Shad’s complaint. Authorities are actively searching for the suspects and conducting investigations.
