Swachh Bharat: Dignity Through Sanitation
The Swachh Bharat Mission restored dignity to crores of rural Indian women. With the building of crores of toilets, the mission ended the shame of open defecation, particularly for women, and brought in health, safety, and self-respect.

Financial Inclusion with Jan Dhan Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana has transformed the financial landscape for women. With more than half of the accounts being under women, it has given direct access to bank facilities, subsidies, and financial security—making women independent to manage their finances.

Ujjwala Yojana: Clean Kitchens, Healthy Lives
To give free LPG connections to women from underprivileged families, Ujjwala Yojana eradicated harmful indoor air pollution. Apart from safeguarding women’s health, the program freed them from cooking hours and allowed them to study or work.

Empowering Women Entrepreneurs through MUDRA Loans
MUDRA Yojana has been an effective tool to promote women entrepreneurship. Lakhs of women employed these loans to establish small enterprises, attain independence, and enhance local economies.

PM Awas Yojana: Women Home Ownership
By making houses the property of women’s names, PM Awas Yojana empowered women and rural women economically and socially.

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao: A Social Movement
This scheme changed attitudes across the country, putting the education and well-being of the girl child in the limelight. It has corrected imbalanced sex ratios and brought about increased awareness for gender balance.
