Afghan Boy in Aircraft Landing Gear: A 13-year-old Afghan boy’s “curiosity” led him from Afghanistan to Delhi after he somehow gained entry to the landing gear compartment of an airplane that was taking off from Kabul. After a two-hour flight, KAM airline flight RQ-4401 arrived at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport at approximately eleven in the morning on Sunday, September 21. However, according to sources, the adolescent was returned to Afghanistan on the same flight on Sunday.

What Happened After Landing?

A 13-year-old child was seen wandering close to the aircraft after it landed, according to the airline authorities, who reported the incident to the airport security control room. The airline staff arrested the child, who was from Kunduz city, and turned him over to the Central Industrial Security Force officers, who took him to the airport’s Terminal 3 for interrogation.

What did 13 Year old Afghan Boy told in Interrogation?

He claimed to the officials that he entered the Kabul airport covertly and somehow entered the aircraft’s rear central landing gear compartment. According to the reports, he claimed to have done this out of curiosity. They say the Afghan child was quizzed and then returned by the same flight that left at 12:30 pm. When KAM airline security officers searched the landing gear compartment, they discovered a tiny red speaker that the youngster was reportedly carrying. They added that following a comprehensive inspection and anti-sabotage inspections, the aircraft was deemed safe.
