Delhi Flights Cancelled: Escalating tensions in the Middle East and the closure of airspace have forced airlines to cancel numerous flights to and from Delhi airport. Airlines canceled up to 48 flights, 20 departures from the capital and 28 arrivals. Air India canceled 17 flights, IndiGo grounded 8, and other carriers scrapped 3 flights. Of the outbound flights from Delhi, Air India canceled 10, IndiGo canceled 7, and other airlines canceled 3.
Airlines Response:
On Tuesday morning, IndiGo announced that it is “prudently and progressively resuming operations” on the Middle Eastern itineraries as airports gradually reopen. “To guarantee safe and easy travel, we are continuously keeping a careful eye on the situation and are carefully weighing the safest flight routes. Please use our website or mobile app to stay up to date. “We appreciate your ongoing trust and understanding,” the message said.

In a post on X (previously Twitter), SpiceJet stated that the shutdown of Middle Eastern airspace may have an impact on some of its flights.

Akasa Air added that the current state of affairs in the Middle East might have an effect on its flight operations to and from the area.
“We truly apologize for any inconvenience, and we recognize that this may interfere with your travel arrangements. It advised passengers to check the flight status and stated, “Our teams are closely monitoring the evolving situation to ensure that all flight operations are within safe and approved airspace.”
