A strange theft took place at Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda. A stranger who came into the doctor’s room stole the shoes. The details of the incident, which took place under the jurisdiction of Panjagutta police station, are as follows.
On Wednesday afternoon, a stranger went to the fifth floor in the loft from the B1 cellar used by the doctors at Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda. There, he stole shoes worth Rs. 15,000 from the doctor’s dressing room in the doctor’s room. The Panjagutta police registered a case and started investigating on the compliant of the hospital’s security officer Krishna. Based on the CCTV footage, it was found that a person went from the B1 cellar to the fifth floor and put on his shoes in the doctor’s dressing room and walked from there. After coming out of the hospital, the police noticed that he was walking towards Raj Bhavan and started a search for the accused.
Mahesh (22), a petty thief from Suryapet, came to the city five years ago and used to work at Deccan hospital in Somajiguda and stay in the hostel there. While working there, he used to make friends with the staff of Yashoda hospital opposite and sed to come and go frequently. In this context, on Wednesday afternoon, he went straight to the fifth floor of the hospital and stole shoes from the doctor’s dressing room and escaped. When the police searched the accused’s room, they seized an iphone, a tab and the shoes.
