Ahemdabad Flight Crash: Near Meghani Nagar, near Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, a Boeing 787 operated by Air India with 242 passengers crashed. According to preliminary information, the flight was scheduled to depart from Ahmedabad and arrive at Gatwick. The State Police Control Room has reported that smoke was visible coming from the airport grounds after the event.

What Happened in Ahmedabad Airport:
The event happened at the Ahmedabad airport immediately after the Air India flight, which was headed for London, took off. According to local sources, the plane crashed close to the airport in a heavily populated area. Locals hurried to assist with rescue attempts as soon as the disaster occurred. Bhupendra Patel, the chief minister of Gujarat, is said to have hurried to Ahmedabad to evaluate the situation.

According to the media sources, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke with Patel over the Ahmedabad jet disaster tragedy. According to the report, the central government has promised full help. As per the reports, Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu is heading towards Ahmedabad Airport. The Flight took off at 1.17 pm and it was heading to London
