Ahmedabad Plane Crash: One person has been found alive in the Ahmedabad plane crash that has shocked the country, according to a report. Ahmedabad Police responded to national news agency ANA that a person travelling in seat 11A was found alive and the injured youth is undergoing treatment. It is reported that a youth named Ramesh Vishwas Kumar was travelling in seat 11A. There were 242 people on board the crashed plane. Police had earlier said that no one could be rescued alive. The bodies of 204 people have been recovered from the accident site.
The plane crashed into the nearby Medical College Hostel building shortly after taking off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. There are 169 Indians on the passenger list. Initial information about the passengers is that 53 are British, 7 Portuguese citizens and one from Canada. It is reported that there are also Malayalis on the passenger list. At the same time, the authorities have clarified that the plane was flown by experienced pilots.
