Air Ambulance: Around 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, an air ambulance crashed in the Kedarnath area after its tail struck the ground as it landed close to the Kedarnath helipad. The pilot, physician, and nursing staff are all safe, and no casualties were recorded.

Rahul Choubey, the district tourism officer and heli services coordinator for Kedarnath, stated, “We contacted AIIMS Rishikesh for heli assistance when a patient experienced respiratory issues. Due to technical difficulties, the heli ambulance pilot was unable to land at the Kedarnath helipad. As a result, the pilot tried landing in the next open field.

“The rear part of the helicopter crashed and the tail broke during landing,” he said. Choubey affirmed that the accident did not result in any recorded fatalities. “DGCA would look into it,” he continued.
