What is the Maharaja Club?

Air India’s frequent flier program (FFP) is called the Maharaja Club. Depending on their membership tier, it offers members reward points and other advantages. Benefits for members include priority check-in and boarding, lounge access, free flights, cabin upgrades, and excess baggage allowance. Members benefit more from higher membership tiers.

Here are different types of memberships and their benefits:

Air India’s Maharaja Club loyalty program offers four membership tiers: Red, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, each with increasing benefits based on travel activity.

The Red tier is the base level with no specific qualification requirements. To qualify for Silver, members must earn 15,000 tier points, including at least 4,500 from Air India flights, or complete 30 flights, with at least 4 on Air India. For Gold, members need 30,000 tier points (with 9,000 from Air India) or 60 flights (8 with Air India). The highest tier, Platinum, requires 45,000 tier points (13,500 from Air India) or 90 flights, including 12 with Air India.

Members earn Maharaja points per ₹100 spent on Air India flights as follows: Red – 6 points, Silver – 8 points, Gold – 9 points, and Platinum – 10 points. Tier points per ₹100 remain consistent at 6 across all tiers.
